In the course of consultations we shall think through the process and shall make our suggestions regarding the planned activities. This includes, among others, selection of appropriate technologies and techniques, considering of various waste management alternatives, and recommending the optimum time for performing the work. Our actions are based on the principles that

• the technologies and work methods applied should be cost-efficient,
• waste management should be optimal, i.e. the waste is sorted and recovered to the maximum extent possible (e.g. timber is used for energy generation, concrete and bricks are processed into appropriate filling material, scrap metal is sold to a specialised trader),
• the time of performing the work should be cost-efficient and in line with the selected work techniques. As in other sectors of industry, carrying out demolition unexpectedly and during the peak season could give rise to higher costs; nevertheless, any work schedule should also take into consideration possible seasonal restrictions.

Preparing of demolition projects
According to the Building Act effective in Estonia any construction activity, which also covers demolition of buildings and structures, requires a building permit issued on the basis of a building design. The scope of the service rendered by Purustaja OÜ includes:

• applying for technical conditions for the scheduled demolition activities,
• if necessary, commissioning of the geodetic plan,
• preparing of the demolition design documentation, which meet the requirements of the preliminary design,
• co-ordinating the design documentation with the appropriate agencies (e.g. network owners),
